Introduction
In 2024, I probably had to change the DNS Setting on GoDaddy to connect it to my Landing Page at least 300 times. I don’t know why. I always struggle to remember my way around. This is the easiest way to change the setting.
Changing DNS Settings on GoDaddy
Step 1 : Log in to GoDaddy: Head to the GoDaddy website and log in to your account.
Step 2: Click Your Name on the top right corner and then click My Products
Hold CTRL + N and Click On This Link TO Go to My Products Page
Step 3: Find The Domain & Click DNS Setting
Step 4: If the Domain is New, Delete Current cName & A Records
Only do this if you have a new domain name, otherwise, you might be disconnecting your existing pages. You can always reconnect them, so don’t worry.
Step 5: Add the New Records. Click Add New Record on the top and then on step 2 you will have a list of all the record types.
If this is a new domain name, delete all the records that give you the option to delete.
Type | Name | Value | TTL |
---|---|---|---|
A | @ | IP Address From Your Account | 1 Hour |
CNAME | www | sites.ludicrous.cloud | 1 Hour |
